Here's a pic of the driveway by me today.
Note the spirally patterned ceiling panel.

About two weeks later and it seems to have one more floor. Note the absence now of the old crane stem seen in the older pic (above) on the right.

Thanks for the updates, mcminsen.

35 more floors, plus the rooftop feature, to go.

That seems likely. The black cladding even matches the tower c renderings.

Nice. Thanks.

I love when you get this shot, especially when you include more of the historic Yaletown buildings in the foreground, showing off the different layers, textures and tones of this part of downtown. Maybe next time.

Thanks for the close-up.
That's the same sort of punched/perforated steel as on the podium of the Fairmont Pacific Rim and the Richmond International Trade Centre.

Love that shot! I guess you'll need to keep getting closer and closer to the opening to frame it all.

By City of Rain August 4th:

The spandrel within the concrete grid messes up the look of the grid.

The red circle is where I stand (9th floor deck of Anchor Point 1) to capture a time-lapse (work in progress).

The tower is going to be prominently visible from Seymour/Davie intersection.

Pic by me today.
Much of it will eventually be blocked by 8X on the Park from my angle.

I can see the crane from Metrotown but the tower still has little ways to go before visible from most places. Very few other projects reaching interesting heights in Downtown currently. Things should get more exciting with several other projects in 6 months from now.
