But the buyer usually have penalty in the contract so they get priority.

Presale units are treated differently as they are usually finished to a higher standard. Individual walk throughs take way more time than a owners rep that has walked through the units on a regular basis. And in this market if your only 6 month late that is almost perfect.

And as a Presale basically you are buying on speculation that the project may go ahead. In Richmond on project the owners got their downpayment back.
The rental is also monthly income. All the presales are set in stone, but for every month the rentals are delayed is like $600,000/mo.

That's Metrotown.

When have you ever known New West to look anything like that?

It kind of looks like New West if you quadrupled the density, doubled the heights, and made all the towers 20 years newer.

Really, really, really hard.

While looking at it askance from behind a series of obstructing blocking objects.

Haha my bad my bad. It has been a while since I looked towards Vancouver from an angle like that. Not often I go to Edmund King's Crossing name also just sounded like Surrey's King George so I thought the panorama is from Surrey.

Well said point about the rentals being $600000per month. In the big picture the Rental is the most important part of the project. Also the rental towers take less time to build as they typically have a lower standard of finish.

Only Shape would know. I got a showing of the unit and signed a lease in early July. They're still advertising so there's clearly units available.

For rentals the colour scheme alternates between wood panel and all white kitchen (White on odd.) Only certain floors are pet-friendly, but I didn't ask more about that.

For those in Tower 1 and did a walk through, what did your cooktop look like? The apartment brochure I found online says "...4-burner gas cooktop with pull-out hood fan", but in the rental photos its an induction stove.

Could it be that induction is for the rentals and gas for purchasers?
