I also don't understand the discussion about renters moving in early. Those units have their own lobby and elevators, so they are basically a separate building-in-a-building. Them moving in won't delay or impact owners' move-in in any way as I see it?

Don't think there is any competition between owner and renters, and in no way is renters regarded as less. Just that owner has been lining up since day 1 of their presale at the very front end of the queue. Owners put their investments ,emotion and love in this project and rewarded with wait ,wait ,wait.... Some already sold their previous dwelling and now rent with the hope they can move in soon. . Owners feels renters are jumping the queue, yet renters put no investment or emotional tie to this project.
Owners and renters do share the use of common amenities. Some how it feels like " I bought a brand new car , yet some strangers get to use it first. "
