What about the accountants/auditors? Guaranteed an outside council. Year after year, noticed nothing?
Oh, yeah. There were people/organizations in place, and compensated, to make sure everything was running properly. That's some serious dereliction of duty.

From what i have heard in the rumour mill, Peter was the CFO, he started working there as a regular joe and he managed to build a trusting relationship with the big wigs there. They trusted Peter to run it financially. Thats where he pounced.
I'm assuming he had some type of accounting education but if he didnt, man this guy must be a smooth talker.

It was a case of the ball being dropped by many at all levels resulting in a disaster - the proverbial "perfect storm".

The Fort side is looking better now but it still very much looks like the 'back end'.

Agreed, but I think it turned out way better than the renders made it appear. Windows are pretty big and transparent. The Fort & Graham corner looks like it'll shape up pretty nicely. Fairly imposing on that corner.

I was really hoping the city would expand the Graham sidewalks there and keep Graham transit-only, but with the 🞵🞵🞵🞵 show happening on Main right now I have zero faith.

Well, I'd be surprised if they didn't have accounting council. They weren't small, surely a large company somewhere missed something.

So they put up 3 of the four storey vertical beams in under 40 min. Pretty quick when everything is on site and ready to go.

Good. Nice to see some progress... I didn't want 300 Main to start feeling like our own Pyongyang-style permanent construction project that never actually gets completed

Horizontal beams are going in for the first of the lower height residential floors, so lots of hollow core action to come now. Shaft still sitting on level 15 (longer than normal wait at that level).

Vertical = columns
Horizontal = beams

And while we are at it, the plural of joist is joists. Not joisteses.

I have no idea - are they insulating the driveway? If so, why? Pardon my ignorance.

If its being heated for the winter, you don't want the heat to flow downward into the ground. You want it stay in the slab to melt the snow /ice and the insulation does that.

Mannn, i had a brain fart this whole time and thought those columns were two floors each.

Nice friday surprise to learn it's 3. Although now I'm picturing a high end condo with 15ft ceilings and that's kind of awesome too.

Happy Saturday yall, quick favor to ask. Can anyone point me towards the original 2-tower trizec rendering from back in the day? I want to compare it to the design for 300 Main
thanks!
