This is almost an identical photo to what I previously posted with one significant difference. Who can spot it?

HINT: There were a ton of workers on the roof that morning and none of them needed to be there (myself included).

Yeppers. Most flybys come across the river over parliament so we were expecting an up close and personal view but this one followed the river putting it in the distance. Disappointing but yet still interesting to watch. That being said... Canada Day and Lac Leamy fireworks will be perfect from this vantage point and if it's your condo you can actually drink that night.

Yeah, I'm not sure why the architect wasn't told to put a terrace or huge balcony on the north side of the building for the kick-ass granddaddy two-storey boss/owner penthouse. I guess if you awkwardly arrange the patio furniture on the southeast terrace for fireworks nights, you'll be good to go.

Always enjoy your pics, ServiceGuy! Thank you for sharing! We were on top of CD Howe (240 Sparks) and had a terrific view as well!

You all have a very beautiful city in Ottawa! I wish I could have caught the opening of your light rail.

I still find it weird to see the Farm without the Sir John Carling building.

But hey, great pics, thanks for sharing!

65% sold as of September 4. On the top 10 floors only 3 suites remain. From a sales perspective they've done well. Leveraging their capital to build early certainly helps them.

My parents went for a design session on their unit and heard prices went up.

Looks like a significant hike on the new safdie model (2br2ba 1290sqft). Now @950k+5k floor premium for the remaining six units (floors 29-34). I'll try to find an old pricelist but i believe it was 850K+1k floor premium over the summer.

I think with the early site problems and the tragic accident, buyers were a little skeptical but seeing is believing.

Thanks Matt,

so the 29th floor Safdie has gone from $867K to $950K between Feb and September. $83K.

I cant recall a building with hikes like that in Ottawa before. There is scarcity in this category though since most builders arnt doing 1000sqft+ 2br2ba's anymore, and downsizing boomers like my parents want something bigger than 800sqft. Units this size at Claridge Moon/Lyon are all on the penthouse level and 1M+. Claridge Royale only has 2 1000sqft+ units in the entire building, and they're both 3br2ba.

A bit of a different view but will mention boat rental, food, & beer are stupid prices at Dow's Lake.

New price list as of September 24th. Did anyone else notice the 6000sq ft unit on the 45th has now been split into two?

Floor-to-ceiling dark glass going up on the penthouse. An unexpected development considering a few of the top storeys don't yet have cladding. Looks interesting as it wraps around the curves of the building, even if the glass colour doesn't exactly match the green theme.

Could the Malhotras be fast-tracking their new home in the sky!?
