That photo doesn't start at the ground level, FYI. My count matches the rendering when you start at the appropriate section.

Maybe West Midtown. But then again, Midtown's commercial districts is the on steroids at the moment.

Y’all are correct. I double checked my photos from ASA and they match the floor counts and renderings from the street level. The shot from the contractor is an odd angle from what I’ve seen.

I may have underestimated how nice of The Interlock is going to be. The way it engages the street level looks great!

Can you imagine if the West Midtown corridor had MARTA rail access? Man... it would be even more on fire.

Unfortunately northside BRT isn’t on the short term MARTA expansion list, either. NW Atlanta getting hosed.

In the interim why don't the business owners fund a shuttle bus to the Arts Center or Midtown Marta station through the Howell Mill CID?

That's true. I was just thinking in terms of it's perception in the housing market.

Both West Midtown and Memorial drive will probably have a greater physical transformation. For anyone that doesn't live there or travel the Memorial drive corridor on a regular basis, the difference is truly dramatic.

The sad thing is that rail access would just raise values more, to the point where the creative stuff couldn't pay the land costs. There's a reason everything in Midtown is so formulaic - it has to be the pay for the land.

All of this said, this areas has stellar bus access. When I go there, I never have tor wait more than 10 minutes for a bus home or to the rail station. There's the 12, 14, 37, and 94.

There are two cranes West and slightly south of the Lindbergh Marta station. Anyone know what they are for?

The Interlock

I'm not sure if that is the base for a third crane.

Absolutely amazing! Just wish this was all visible from the connector. Lol. People flying through at 80 MPH or sitting at 10 MPH would really be amazed at how the city is growing even more than just midtown. Everyone I know in the suburbs that come into and I Drive around have no clue how active and positive all the growth is having on the city. They think it’s the suburbs still booming and just talk about how the news only talks about crime in the city. There ignorance amazes me until I watch the local news and get sickened about how negative it is every time about Atlanta. If you ever want to be brought down for some weird reason, listen to the local news from 5-7. It’ll make you feel like slicing your wrists open it’s so horrible. I catch maybe 10 mins and start thinking why in the hell do people watch this garbage. It sounds like Atlanta is a cesspool in the worst part of hell.
