The C series is now well and truly an Airbus product, though it is still a Canadian production line. I hear that the Canadair CRJ program is also going to be bought and merged with Mitsubishi’s regional jet program.

Sad to see Bombardier fail at building a world class commercial airplane company, but for people in the Canadian aerospace industry, having those deep European an Japanese pockets may ultimately prove a good thing.
