2 steps forward, one step back. Some issues are becoming less frequent or solved in some way. Then other issues are coming up. Still door problems. Lately a lot of the interior overhead panels have been falling down randomly due to failed latches. But it's okay because they're over the window seats and doorways, which are not commonly occupied in transit vehicles. Wait..
Mostly/only singles lately because they're still having issues coupling the trains. This suggests that we're not that close to completion, but who knows. Even once we get substantial completion, achieving the 12/6 day test will be quite a feat. Probably not going to happen quickly. It's possible that we've gone 12 hours now without major fault, but with mostly single trains so that doesn't say much as they don't have as many issues. Today wasn't too bad though they did have to have all the trains in the west half of the guideway lower their pantographs for some reason this morning. I wasn't paying attention to why. Powering down/up the OCS and such.
They were filming again with actors at Lyon and uOttawa, so new promo videos may be out soon ish.

Would they leave the trains coupled overnight? They run coupled 5 days out of 7, seems like uncoupling and coupling would be more effort than it's worth
As for the glitches, they'd make the timeline really unknowable, since no one can really estimate . It could be days, it could be months. The problem I guess using the first models ever of the Spirit.
Metrolinx will probably have much better luck, as the teething pains will all be sorted by the time they get their order. The stage 2 trains will also likely be more reliable off the bat.
