Yea... honestly GilmoreStation doesn't really bother me. He hasn't started any racially charged or heavily skewed political threads, hasn't likened anyone to Hitler or the Nazis and doesn't push his views in a multitude of subversive ways. His comments are short, blatant and outright which gives it a comedic undertone if anything. It's like an SNL skit.

I find it somewhat hilarious how big of a scoop and reveal a bloody Starbucks seems to be in here. We have been talking about this big news for, what, three pages now?

lol it's a sign that the retailers can start getting their units ready. And a Reserve Starbucks is a lot nicer than the normal ones. The one at Pacific Centre and the one on Main Street (&14th) are really nice.

Most of them roost around the Still Creek area to the southwest. Where Gilmore Place is getting built. I never see crows around Brentwood centre, not sure why that is.

if you go to the casino at night you can see hundreds of them in the trees along the street there.

I love seeing more of these type of fences erected around skytrain stations these days. They should be used more, especially along the medians of busy roadways to prevent people from dashing across. These can be used along Lougheed Highway.

Not as many tall trees (?) or wide green space/lawns to pluck food from soil. I see lots ofthe crows on Gilmore/Canada Way or along Gilmore in general and Boundary/Dominion. Especially in cooler months at dusk. It''s fascinating to see.

The one at the corner of Denman and Davie at English Bay, as well as another corner one at Richards and Robson are also Reserve Starbucks now, although they still feel like ordinary starbucks: only brighter.

Didn't realize that the Robson & Richards one was a Reserve. They renovated a while back, but, yeah, you can't really tell from the outside.

That will not be a Reserve Bar. There are only the 2 you’ve mentioned in our area and I wouldn’t expect any more in the near future.

Reserve Stores and Reserve Bars are 2 different things. There are only 2 Reserve Bars in the Lower Mainland, while there are many Reserve Stores.

Reserve Stores carry Reserve coffees, which are exotic and exclusive single-origins from around the world, but other than that they are just a regular, albeit usually somewhat upscale, Starbucks.

Reserve Bars carry everything a normal Starbucks and Reserve Store does but they also have a manual espresso machine with a separate menu of drinks such as affogatos, plus alcohol and some food items only served at Reserve Bars. Design-wise, they are a level above other stores. The one downtown is the largest Starbucks in Canada.

For me personally, it is making me think that this skytrain sky bridge will be opening up sooner rather than later, hopefully along with some retail components as well. Maybe sooner than I expected like in weeks? That's exciting for me as a user of this station



Now completely covered up... how long is the usual turn around time for a new Starbucks after it has been boarded?
