BC Place? Haha, it is increasing being walled in. Soon we will only be able to see the lights if we check into the rooms of the Douglas hotel or Marriott next door.

I believe the podiums are all commercial space, they do look a bit different from the render.

I posted the same images on the Rendering VS Reality thread in the Canada forum and skylinegazer pointed out that the left edge of the tower as seen in the images was different from the rendering to the photo.

Walked by the project last weekend. They have opened up the concrete-paved road underneath Granville Bridge to traffic, although it was dark and unlit as no new streetlights had been installed yet. I was surprised how early they allowed access since the two construction sites on both sides were far from finished.
