I saw the same...

Saw one heading eastbound from Hurdman, as I was stopped near Industrial and Riverside. I fully expected it to cross over and was waiting for what seemed like 2 minutes for it to reach riverside. Then I saw a westbound train cross, going just as slow.

Also caught this shot of the train crossing the rideau with Icon going up in the distance on Wednesday...

Must be related to the switch at Hurdman.

I was thinking it would be great if they added News & Video display in the underground stations or even in all of them, just like the Montreal metro. Everytime I'm in Montreal I find these quite entertaining while waiting for the next train.

They often display news broadcast, forecast, commercials and important infos about the network. Small screen are also installed in the trains themselves espacially in the Azur.

Personally, I find them too busy. I want the screen to show me the arrival time of the next train. All the other stuff makes it difficult to find that, especially as a tourist.

I think the point is to have 2 sets of monitors/screens. One for the next train stuff, and another set for Information.

As a tourist, I can see where they have the "Next Train" and see the ads too. We are not that stupid.

OC trialed the Pattison OneStop screens at Greenboro for a couple of years before they went with their own solution. The OneStop screens had two monitors, one for ads and news, the other for next bus times. They did feel less refined than the system OC has now.

The washrooms are inside of the fair-paid zone and I'm sure the majority of people who aren't otherwise planning on taking the train aren't going to pay $3.50 just to use the washroom.

Otherwise, if you are taking the train, then a washroom is always a really short ride away, and you don't even have to leave the fair-paid zone.

There are far better places to put public washrooms than (in the downtown) in an underground train station.

Outside of the fair-paid zone would have been better, IMO. Would have been effective in resolving the lack of public washrooms.

I have just noticed that Google Earth has been updated now, as well as Google Maps (which was mentioned previously).
It seems to be a Saturday or Sunday or holiday day from late May or into June of 2018, probably soon after the first LRV was towed into the western reaches.
The T-Line has only 2 Lints, one at Bayview and one at Greenboro, none at Carleton.
There is a parked Spirit LRV halfway between Bayview and Tunney's, at the ground level of transition from elevated to trench, with a parked security car on Scott watching over it.

The imagery was taken on June 2nd and 3rd since you can spot doors open activity going on around the city (including Walkley Yard and 905 Belfast). The LRV by Tunney's was 1122.

^ That's both 1) extremely dangerous (there needs to be an audit ASAP, he could have gotten seriously hurt, whoever took that bribe needs to be fired and charged!), 2) and, admittedly, a fascinating look at the tunnel. Not really a problem though--there's always going to be water in a tunnel. Those weren't even really puddles.

I agree totally with you, but I think you forgot to add that the intruder also needs to be charged with trespassing. RTG obviously needs to boost their security. I can see where at night time there will need to be much tighter security to prevent vandalism and protect homeless people from seeking shelter in a potentially dangerous place.
