Sort of - instead of one big suspension from the top of the core, it looks like a bunch of them attached to the sides of the core.
But I think there's also support from below, too.

The Westcoast Transmission building (now the Qube) is pretty different structurally. The Qube is a structurally hung building, whereas 410 W Georgia will be a more traditional steel structure with columns extending to grade supported by a concrete core.
I think it's more likely they are the below grade concrete supports for future steel columns once it goes above grade, since that load would need to be carried down to the foundation. They may be concrete above grade but the would still need lateral support as they travel up the core so they might as well be steel.
Yeah, can't tell from the diagrams if the superstructure will be concrete or steel.
One shows cylinders, suggesting concrete, the other shows thinner columns suggesting steel.
Still kinda amazed that this is happening for real, since the renders were so amateurish in quality. Though after Vancouver house and Kengo Kuma, anything seems possible in this town
