Couple pictures from today's update. Seems like a lot of work is left at Tunney's and Bayview. It's like there not even trying.

St-Laurent still missing plenty of ceiling tiles.

Parliament platform looks wider than Lyon's. As someone mentioned, the positioning of Parliament's vertical circulation maximizes the full width area down the middle.

I found this line in the Stage 2 report from Friday:

I didn't realize we were getting 4 new LRVs (for two trainsets).

The report also mentions a total fleet size of 85 vehicles after the completion of Stage 2... but it's really not clear whether the 4 new vehicles are being included (or if they're included as part of the Stage 2 fleet increase). 85 = 34 + 6 + 7 + 38 (Stage 1, Trillium, FLIRTs, Stage2)

Also from the report:

 LRV 35 - fully trucked complete;
 LRV 36 - cars in production and bogies are on site ready for installation;
 LRV 37 - cars are in production (fabrication); and,

Currently, RTG expects to have the entire expanded fleet (Remaining LRVs 39-72; 38
additional vehicles in total) assembled by Q3 2021, well in advance of when they will be
required to commence testing and commissioning for the Confederation Line
extensions.

The 4 new vehicles are being counted in the 38 new Stage 2 vehicles.

Missing tiles likely means they are just keeping access to utilities open until they absolutely need to close everything up.

According to a post on Reddit they had 15 uncoupled trains out running last night.

Not likely. The problem is we need 15 double trains running, otherwise we don't have near enough capacity for rush hour. It is a positive sign though, as it would be 15 single trains running on the weekends. I think we're going to be a few trains short at the end of the month. The question will be how far behind the remaining trains are. I predict we'll still be riding in May, with handover sometime in mid april. I know others are more pessamistic

I predict that the day before handover Melnyk is found tampering with the signals all along the Confederation line resulting in indefinite delays. This year can only get worse for big Ottawa projects....

If they can get 15 uncoupled trains to run smoothly then it means signals are working, which is a very good sign.

Agreed. I was at St.Laurent this morning (09:25) and it looked like they were loading up the line for a full test (with single LRV trains) - the westbounds were 3 1/2 minutes apart, and the eastbounds were departing from St.L at 3 1/2 minute intervals - but the next eastbound was pulling in as soon as the previous had just departed, and then waiting, as if they were being loaded from Belfast Yard to eastbound asap.
The westbound next train times signage so indicated too - 3 1/2 minutes apart.
And there were 6-8 OC-T (O-Train) helmeted personnel in the St.L accessway to the trains, talking and smartphone-ing.
