I mean it's not the best layout but in person it doesn't look that bad from a visibility perspective.

Knowing the trend if not the pattern of Vancouver I wonder if CF is waiting for the Four Seasons to close to demo the tower and space including the rotunda all at the same time. Maybe, they want to do a bigger development and or build a much more substantial tower in the location of the current Four Seasons. The street on the side of the current Four Seasons definitely needs more activity and since they are tearing down the Empire Land Mark Hotel and it seems every other tower that was built before the 1990s this does seem plausible.

The white on white Canaccord sign looks fine in person.

I've been wondering when we'll get a preview of what CF might have in store for the Four Seasons tower when the lease expires. Full demo and new tower? Gut and redo tower?

Is that your fun news?

The parkade is getting a 22-stall Tesla Supercharger installation. I'm wondering if there's any chance the small Robson store moves to the mall?

Vin hired on as consultant reporting directly to LeftCoaster.

Hire GilmoreStation to promote the new re branding and redevelopment of the Four Seasons tower, which will be including a new high class brand of hotel, and the addition of private units for sale.

GilmoreStation presents...

Trump Hotel & Tower 2: Vancouver Boogaloo

but wait there's more

CF Pacific Centre and HBC/Oxford are proud to announce the sale of the Historic HBC store to CF, with Oxford staying on to redevelop ,in partnership with CF and HBC, the existing store, adding Sak's Fifth Avenue. This partnership also sees a brand new office tower built by CF and Oxford added above the existing store with Softbank's WeWork signing on.

We ain't stopping LeftCoaster & Elon's wild wide

The Atrium redevelopment will see a two level GLASS store, with an Apple Flagship taking up a majority of the space (namely second floor), with the Tesla flagship on the bottom, Elon's Vancouver based bae Grimes opens the event with a trip of a show.

Some minor Holt Renfrew news - they are opening up a new event and patio space on the 4th floor for private events.

The revised version of the Rotunda replacement is now on the City of Vancouver website. Moved around, and even more open than the first version. From the Changing City blog.

I actually prefer this design, I think it is much more elegant.

Even though the setback from the previous design is a better idea, now we get a boring-looking "office lobby" instead of a nice amenity space for shoppers to rest. Also, I fail to see any retail space in there.

Much better - in addressing the corner.

That looks like an Apple store - if so, where's the mall entrance?
Presumably to the side between 701 West Georgia and the store (as it was in the previous scheme).

Chicago flagship - Michigan Ave.

The mall entrances flank the new retail unit.

I think we can safely say this is Apple Vancouver flagship.

The roof lines seem identical along with the wood treatment. The rounded glass corners. Even the lighting seems to be identical from the rendering to the Chicago flagship.

The new design looks great! I definitely agree that this new look could be the space for a new Apple Store. It would allow them to have a two-floor store maybe with apple care and classroom space on the second floor and the main portion of the store on the main floor.
