When it comes to which parts of the city are best, that's also not up for debate. People can post magazine or newspaper articles or whatever, but at the end of the day people vote with their real estate offers. The vast amount of new homes built in the city have been in the suburbs. End of story.
This thread finds a way to become even more moronic every time I take a peek.

"The vast amount of new homes built in the city have been in the suburbs. end of story"

LMAO. Well D'uh!

Much of what you said is a reasonable opinion that people can respect, but why would someone on drugs not choose the Beltline, where there is abundant supply and more company? All the services you'd need are walking distance!

Fastest growing? By a few people using raw numbers but percentage wise it's no near the fastest growing.

Voted best neighborhood? By whom?

I see what you're trying to do, simply repeating the same thing back, without any real knowledge or experience. Well, I'm sorry but I call bullshit. I highly doubt you've been to Aspen Woods, but on the off chance you actually went there. What's not to like about it? With the Beltline it's easy to point out its flaws, either statistically (crime rate, number of homeless, number of needles found each day) or visually (homesless people everywhere, low income apartment buildings, and train tracks running through the middle of it). With Aspen Woods it can't be done. I challenge you to come up with an actually reason why it's worse?

Well . A brand new suburban neighbourhood grows by 100%.

New York doesn't grow by high percentages each year. It's raw numbers that count.

Wow

In one particular location. They're finding more every hour in St.Andrews Heights.

I'm not going to resort to name calling, but I will say this. You've lost all credibility with a post like that. You're revealing either your ignorance or your bias.
It's well known that there are needles around the Beltline. It's not up for debate. There are even newspaper articles about it as shown above. It's not urban lore.

Rather than acting like the minister of Beltline propaganda, just acknowledge that the problem exists and many be people will take you seriously.

Hey! I just post what I see, I’m not spewing an angle here. I spend a lot of time in this area working, drinking coffee and beers, chilling, commuting... I say how I see it, nothing more.
Yeah I don’t think so. More like how you choose to see it.

Best post of the last couple of days. I agree, we don't need name calling, and I also agree with your other points.
People can have a take on something, but once you do, your take is fair game, and if you come across as being in denial you'll be called on it.

Guys, heated debate is okay, but please refrain from name calling. Next person to come someone an idiot or moron will be suspended.

I don't know if you're trying to by sarcastic or what, but I'm positive nobody is worried about soccer moms.

On a serious level, you've likely never been to Aspen Woods. The quality of living there, or in areas like it, far exceeds the Beltline on so many levels.

He's being sarcastic. Nobody is choosing the Beltline over a neighborhood like Aspen Woods. He's just trying to get your goat.
