1177 11th Avenue SW. It’s across the street from the Midtown COOP.

I go by there four or five times a week easily. I'll have to pay close attention tomorrow to the building.

That's not where Apple Auto used to be. Two blocks to the east.

Stadium or Brasso. Either one is good.

A visit for a another issue resulted in a large bill, and a friend of a friend who worked at Village Honda, said the work was not necessary and could have been done cheaper. I went to Village Honda after that and had no issues.

Since then I have purchased a Nissan and have used Stadium Nissan without any issues.

Today I discovered something new. Another house has the purple sign in front. Is this possible another house to get demolished and another larger one is built?

i was involved in this project (different builder) prior to being appealed and denied by nimby neighbours. it was to be a 3 storey single family dwelling, but rumour has it, out of spite the homeowner has now gone contextual and building a semi-detached.

the sign you see is a growing trend among inner city builders. in this case i can't confirm, but what happens is builders are trying to establish/compile lot inventory. whether they have bought the home and rent it, or come to an agreement with the current owner to advertise the site as available, without the cash outlay to buy it until a real buyer has been found. inner city lot inventory can be very expensive to acquire, so these types of agreements are becoming more common. especially in altadore you see builder signs on many lots.

If true, what a shame. What the neighbours don't get is that if larger more expensive homes are built around them, the value of their own homes goes up. By having a contextual semi-detached here, the neighbours house value basically stays stagnant.

All three of those places seem to be the same house builder. It's as if the have a monopoly on Crescent Heights.

If it is one builder/developer buying up the lots they must have deep pockets. Daemon, next time you're in the area do a close up of the sign so we can see the details. TIA!

they claimed it would de-value their property because it would shade all those windows basking in sunlight you currently see. the house that was torn down was also an old un-maintained house rented by the room. the proposal was a huge benefit, but 2 noisy neighbours crying foul and threatening to leave the community must have pulled the SDAB heart strings.

It's Maillot Homes if that helps. Trickle Creek is one of those builders i mentioned doing this in Altadore.

The bigger the mansion the longer it takes. I’m liking the way the big one is turning out.

What does contextual mean, in this way?
