They havent even started marketing yet. Would expect marketing this fall. Construction start next spring. Just a guess.

Yah see my previous comments on ZOMG TREES EVERYWHERE. this looks like a tower in a park but that graphic is completely misleading. It is supposed to be building directly fronting all sides of the road.

See first page render for those confused. Page 1, post 1 is your friend on these types of postings. Also the City of Surrey planning report will show a better view or what is planned to be built.

With how they are redeveloping the lot and bought the Toys R Us lot next door, I would like to think that they're going to put it on that lot so it can stand longer.

I doubt that's shelters. There was no notification of such going up. My guess is that is a temporary sales center... One would think they would build a more permanent one by toysrus since this is going to be 10 year build out...

You're both right! Any time I see these modular blocks I now assume they are for homeless shelters.

I wander by the sales centre every other week or so and it doesn't seem like it's making much progress.

I'm really excited by this development. It's gonna change the heart of central Surrey.

It looks like there is regular work on-going inside...junk being thrown into yellow bins etc.

Exterior work has been non-existent though you're right...

Nor should it. I know it is our second official language (and I am 50% french), but demographic wise, French only in Metro Vancouver makes up 0.1% of the population. Seriously.

Non-official language statistics show TC + SC is understood by over 340,000 people in Metro Vancouver or basically the entire population of Burnaby + Delta combined worth of residents. And that was in 2011! Probably considerably more today.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know target audience for pre-sale condos.

Nope, its still going very slowly. They're doing interior work currently and no exterior work has been done yet. Also, some fence style signage is in the early stages of being set up.

Realistically, this will probably come to market March 2019.

There was a mini backhoe thing on site today doing not much of anything. It built a pile of dirt about 2 feet high!
