Maybe, but I think this is why AC introduced YEG-SFO, due to the connection pax in YYC. I would never connect in YVR for PSP, so this definitely changes my behaviour. I'd take WS every time, now I'd take AC too. Some fliers like me value time and convenience over price (most don't but there are some).
WS will not take SEA, they will code-share with DL. I could maybe see Encore going there when the JV is firmed up and DL removing one of the turns.
