Well, I have lived in both cities and I can assure you that there are few if any Saskatoon residents who think that way. To Saskatoon, it IS a competition, one that they win more often than they lose. Someone here earlier was opining that Regina didn’t need to try to top Saskatoon for an indoor arena. This is defeatist.
Hey, if MEC wants to open stores in both cities, great, and they might be planning that anyway. But Midtown and Cornwall are in a pitched battle for provincial exclusives and I for one do not want to see Saskatoon win them all.
