I just can’t understand why they think SkyTrain guideways are so ugly they must go with some other technology because their poor eyes can’t handle it.
Does the author think that the new city hall, City Centre library, Civic Hotel, SFU, and residential developments would’ve been there if not for SkyTrain? He isn’t going on the defensive saying that light rail would attract development too, instead he is attacking SkyTrain.
If Innovia Metro guideways are too intrusive, then let’s go with monorail. Slender beams surely look better than SkyTrain guideways, amirite?
