Logistics is a tech hub. Systems are now automated, algorithms updated, electronic systems programmed, etc...speed and efficiency of supply chain management is a science. There is much more involved technically which involve tech skills than I named.

I don't hear people moving to LA complaining about traffic. I hear people who left LA complaining about traffic. Obviously if an inherent characteristic of a city is super-objectionable, you probably aren't moving there.

In any case, the discussion was around supposed housing burden, and the prime areas of NYC have the lowest housing burden in the city, and lower housing burden than most Rust Belt metros.

Note that it's all people not living in NYC claiming that it's difficult to afford rent in NYC, when actually the cheapest parts of the city have the highest burden. Manhattan has low housing burden, because incomes/wealth are high and most rental housing is non-market.

I see they're busy rebranding CC to "National Landing" already lol.

The development for Nashville is good.

I'm increasingly wary that they're going to run into local problems in LIC as a result of how they conducted themselves and Cuomo's excessive public thirst.

From the Marketwatch ticker:

- Amazon to receive $573 mln in incentives on creating 25,000 jobs with ave. wage of over $150,000 in Arlington
- Amazon to receive $1.5 bln in incentives on creating 25,000 jobs in Long Island City

So, the jobs in Long Island City are costing almost 3 times as much per job as the ones in Arlington.
