Really great work, Don. That would be nice to have on the front page of this thread which is woefully out of date and degrading as all of the image links break, but linking to another site is probably not in the best interest of skyscraperpage.

Small suggestion since you asked, it could possibly be nice to have the map icons color coded to project type, residential, commercial, etc, with a small monetary value estimate of the project, like $35m or $550k or something. That would let the user immediately be able to see the distribution and allow them to focus in on their interests without having to hover over every icon or utilize the project tracker, which then closes the map. If not color coding the icons, when using the project tracker it would be nice to have the map stay open and then only display the icons for the project type that the user selected. If that were the case then I would also want to be able to select multiple project types, ie, so I could see all residential projects at once, or the combination of retail and hotel for example. Maybe that's all too overwhelming though and keeping it simple facilitates exploration deeper into your site. I guess it depends on what your market is and what you hope to get out of your user.

Even if it stays exactly the same it's still an awesome resource. Good stuff.
