Nice shots Cold. Between you and Dave some of the shots are getting out. I wished I wasn't locked into the agreement to not publish mine. Maybe Someday I can post them.

As is. Stantec now inhabits the building. First staff on site this morning. Next group in 2 weeks.

I also believe the Parkade can now be used.

Is there also an incubator building situated down south, to the east of SEC? Or is that ancient history (or my faulty memory)?

Bingo, and thanks for confirming that I've not totally lost my marbles.

I'm curious how concerted/connected the marketing and programming efforts are for these kinds of offerings, given that they're typically government-underpinned.

Very nice. The two brightly lit towers west of the shorter building by the LRT station looks commercial. Nice to see some true mixed use and not just condos with retail.

this one looks easy to support from a planning perspective. from an architectural perspective, what is likely - hopefully - only placemaking is harder to support. with the exception of the two 45 degree skewed towers there doesn’t seem to be any ground floor presence or sense of identity or arrival for any of the towers. they just seem plopped on top of the podium elements and rendered with some night time sparkle to look pretty. i’ll be more interested in seeing some real design added to what seems conceptual massing at this stage (not a bad thing as that is the stage this is at).

It looks a little abrupt now but if everything else within 400m of the station is re-zoned for mid-rise and within 800m for low-rise as it should be, then not so much.

I believe (and I'm guessing) this is primarily driven by the "grey wave" that is anticipated to heavily shift the demand for housing stock.
An alternate, more similar to being in the original neighborhood, than to move into Downtown condo.

I always thought that Strathearn would be attractive to the same demographic, but unfortunately it will never be built...it seems.
