The Eau Claire Market should be placed in the same league as the Robson Public Market: no big updates for decades and absolutely no retail synergy in that area.
For a relatively small city with hardly any residents living downtown, Calgary already has two major malls built right next to each other there. Did you go to the Core and Bankers Hall retail? Those places can be pretty packed. I believe when more people decide to move to the city centre, they will be even better.

I am looking forward to The Post Retail area, although again it would be nice to have interconnected retail centres all the way to PC Mall, and all the major streets surrounding the area revamped to look nicer.
