They are definitely starting to fill out now after growing at a snail's pace for so long.

Major density in that shot! The CBD and Beltline almost don’t look separated by the train tracks. My only gripe is the amount of twins we have in this city. It’s so unimaginative. Makes our skyline look cookie cutterish.

I understand the dislike of the sheer amount of twins we have here, but at least all of our sets of twins are very different than each other, and all of our major towers are quite distinct. I don't find it cookie-cutterish.

This is a strikingly ugly shot. Toronto's skyline density looks good from certain angles, but so many of the individual buildings — balls. Never mind the mid-rise misery of the twentieth century that is only just now taking a turn for the better.

And OCAD University seemed playfully eccentric at first, but now it just looks inept and clumsy. Blech, what an eyesore.

Though that's not its best angle. I actually kinda like that building.

^ It isn't the kind of building you would necessarily want two dozen of scattered around your city, but one is OK. It has a certain sculptural quality to it.

Having walked by it numerous times, its ungainly, pick-up stick-like, hulking presence doesn't grow on you. I think it would be better suited to being surrounded by decent-looking lowrise density. Like in, uh, a certain other city in Canada.
