Yes I'm sure. I remember the building being featured on "House Hunters" when a couple was looking to buy a unit in the building.

So I'm looking at an aerial view of the lot where the new proposed 32 story tower on Peachtree is going via Atlskypalaceowner's webcam. How are they going to fit 417 units in a 32 story tower on that lot? Even if they eat up the Bulldogs lot, it's still not that big. I'm very curious to see the design or maybe the units are just really small.

For example, here's a project in Pheonix that CA Ventures is building that is 257 units and 30 stories....

Some possibilities are that the tower may have somewhat of an L shape or if all or part of the parking deck is covered by residential units.

Sorry to bring this up but remember that Eviva had almost 400 units (383) at 32 stories. That "wing" probably contained around 50 units. What if they used a modified version of this design for that site?

Modera Midtown is another example. It has 435 units with both an L shaped building and the deck wrapped with residential although the site appears to be quite a bit larger.

Also I just noticed that you can now see Viero from Atlskypalaceowner's webcam.

It's a story or two above Yoo now. I noticed it from Virginia Ave earlier this week. Also, he won't have to move the camera an inch to view the new 8th st project.

It really sounds like it. I cannot imagine ingress/egress on 8th street as being that horrific of an impact on traffic. IIRC, that's the location Midtown DRC is recommending, not on Juniper or Peachtree.

The best rendering Ive seen of the new parking deck going in near the Home Depot Back Yard. Will the cap over the tacks fronting Centennial actually happen? That would be a huge improvement!

Agreed! And while a lot of people have ties back to Bulldogs, I hope it eventually gets redeveloped. It has a huge surface parking lot that can fit a decent sized project between the two highrises on the block (it's a bit slimmer, but longer than lilli in comparison). I'm sure they'd be able to operate a crane between the highrises, despite the proximity. If only there was an alleyway midblock, it could have been used for loading a grocery store at the ground floor of the Bulldogs site w/something like taller 7th & Midtown condos on top.

Despite the fact that 903 Peachtree is kind of a wide building, the design makes it not appear so bulky. I'm excited for both of these. I heard that the Piedmont condo proposal was not as successful.

A little wide, sure, but hardly much wider than other towers in the immediate vicinity. I agree, the design is nice and makes it feel more welcoming than imposing. I too am excited for it!

IMO, it means time for them to sell if they're disgruntled about it. Metropolis has just under 500 units, from what I've read. So maybe 1/4 of that are significantly impacted (125 units).

Chances are their condos were overpriced anyways due to lack of supply in town with a view that was never guaranteed. If they wanted better/more likely to be forever views, they should have bought east facing units.
