Exactly! And to compare/equate it to breeds of dogs, and shades of brown is what is RIDICULOUS.

That many on SP ATL have no sense of humor is patently obvious.

An affiliate of the foundation, GTF ATC LLC, paid about $38 million for Atlanta Technology Center, according to Fulton County property records.

The office park contains four buildings on Northside Drive, close to Interstate 75 and the large mixed-use project Atlantic Station.

I wonder if Tech is planning to occupy the space as-is or if they are viewing this as a development opportunity. It's directly on the future Beltline corridor, after all...

Old Melton's building on Ponce

I thought for sure this was a goner! One story commercial buildings just west of the Shell station at Ponce and Monroe are apparently getting renovated. There was new framing going up at the top this morning. Sorry no picture

I wonder if they'll extend them to the rear? There's lots of room back there

I'm sure the restaurant will be great, but it still sucks the redevelopment isn't going through as planned.

The redevelopment of the former Harp Transmission building into a $16-million mixed-use complex with offices, retail, and restaurant components, is not moving forward as planned.

Instead, the space, at 350 Memorial Drive, will be redeveloped into a single restaurant concept called The Harp.

Jarrett Gray and his sister Joy Gray Prince have inked a deal to open the restaurant and bar in the former 3,000 square foot automotive space.

Gray, a Charlotte-based private chef with more than two decades in restaurant management, is moving to Atlanta to open The Harp with Prince, a resident of the area for 17 years.

It really will. Lots of glass going up on the east side of building just couldn't snap a photo because I'm driving.

Way to go Midtown!

I'm super excited to see development at Peachtree & 8th. That would be one of the huge gaps in the urban fabric on Peachtree IMO.

Here's hoping for more local shops and no chains for the retail. Will be really nice having all the new residences and retail from this development & Hanover Peachtree.

Now if we can just get another wave of projects to go under construction, that would be fantastic! There's a handful of cranes still up, but feels like it's been awfully quiet lately. Hanover Peachtree, Vireo, 14th street hotel, and CODA are all about to wrap up construction (at least vertical build), too.

So the new tower is where Noodle and T-Mobile is and that stupid parking lot on Peachtree? Fantastic! I'll always think of it as where Joe Muggs and Azio were, but this would be a huge upgrade. This plus Hanover would turn a block that was 75% surface lots into 75% quality buildings. Wonder if Bulldogs is part of it? If so, 100% quality buildings. I love the historic brick building on the corner w/Juniper.

Yes, seems like you’ve got the right area in mind. Not sure whether bulldogs is included yet. Might check the Atlanta parcel map to see if they consolidated or not. I don’t believe so. If bulldogs remains, leaves the opportunity for a nice sized development to wedge in one day in the future, although following construction would be interesting. Bulldogs and it’s parking are a decent size parcel. And agreed about the old brick building, hoping it remains.

I think all three sites for this DRC meeting are pretty big news. A 7-story building at 1084 Piedmont Avenue will be a big change as well. I'm eager to learn more about all three of these. On the down side, I suspect that the Peachtree project will take out the 8th street apartments.

Edit: I see that this was just mentioned above. Is the building on the corner condos?
