Greystone is an institutional fund manager. Nothing untoward there. They've been around for a long time and the TD purchase was a logical evolution.

The Avigilon Building had the blue LEDs lit up around the Robson entrance and along the Seymour awnings this afternoon.
Looked good.
Not sure if the Robson awning will get the same blue LED treatment.

i was thinking the same thing. some kind of gutter or something. not just for snow/ice but also rain.

WRT the cameras - that's their business...
I'm expecting some sort of Avigilon sign at that entrance.
Could end up being inside above the elevators? (although an art piece would be nicer there)

In the first pic -
I find it strange that the Buro coffee shop couldn't even take the time to remove
the white plastic coverings from their entire window frontage.

They were installing the blue lights on the Robson St. awning this morning.

Would be nice if they changed colours, but not sure if they would, given that the blue is Avigilon's corporate colour.

PS - I wonder if Avigilon is aware of the colour-changing LED light feature mounted on the 2nd skin that Telus let fall into disrepair?

They had the window washing catwalk being lowered from one of the top boxes so maybe they are installing something up there? The construction guys on the ground were glaziers..

One of the glass panels on the sidewalk on the Georgia side is cracked and another panel around the water feature looks like it was smashed.

That sidewalk (Henriquez skylight) panel has been shattered for a month I think.

There's also a sidewalk panel on the Robson side next to Tractor that has been shattered since the summer at least.

there are already bylaws for all that stuff. most aren't enforced. cleaning up the city used to happen as well when they would power wash around the businesses every morning. that stopped. imagine trying to force an addict from shooting up on the street. the vancouver area network of drug users would go all suing/protesting/rioting.
