How do I know when they don't show up? I posted them the first time and they didn't work. I fixed a couple of things then they show up here on my desktop. AJ quoted them and they still showed up. Not sure how I fix something when I can't tell if it is broken. Sorry guys.

Ever since Flickr stopped third party sharing I have had issues.

Taché Promenade

Steel construction has started on the Taché Promenade.

Has anyone seen renders including a site plan? I couldn't find much other than one photo render.

Thank you Biff!! Yes those ones worked

Those are awesome...I really like the second one. Wish something like that would go on the Sky City site or any other parking lot downtown

I saw that,, the maps there show the location,, but don't show how high and where the walkways and side walks go. I thought the platform was going to really high,, and it looks like its level with the road.

It is basically level with the road, maybe a couple feet taller but after the sidewalk river has washed out much of the land there. The walk way is still at least 10 feet above the ground.

Yeah, with some tweaking. I would like a round tower downtown for sure.

I am disappointed,, I thought the project was much more grand than that,, to the tree tops. Yes, its an improvement, but not exactly a step up above what was there before.

I am almost certain it was never more than what we see in that link.

I have to disagree, I think it will be a vast improvement since it was just a receding embankment before with no walk way.

The previous walkway is along the road,, and it looks like it will still be there. It looks pretty close to the road during construction,, but the one render doesn't show the road. That's why I want to see a map,, for now it looks close to the road.

It looks drastically different to me based on the renders in this CBC article:
