They are moving really fast! This is now taller than 150 Main. I can see it from my apartment now so I'll share some pics from a distance as it grows taller.

saw this build yesterday in the sun...man, I'd love 15 more of these throughout the core. What a difference to have light, reflective materials adding flair to the skyline. Our core is small enough that it would literally only take a handful of modern glass builds to start to give us a whole new look and feel.
This project along with
- TV City
- Corktown Plaza
- Kresge
- Connaught
- Platinum Condos
- 71 Rebecca

would make a massive change to our skyline and bring us into the 21st Century. That's a total of 10 towers in all the aforementioned projects. I chose these 10 builds, because from what we've seen so far the design for each is modern and glassy, and tall enough to have an impact. I hope they all get built, plus the many others in the planning pipeline.

What are they doing to the Fairclough building? Tearing it down, hopefully.

Don't hate on big red. Our skyline would be way more boring without her! They're doing more brick and window restoration and replacement work.

Can anyone speculate on why there is a permanent graffiti-covered generator on the north side of King? You can see it clearly in the image above. it's been there for months. A year?

It's a pretty nice building, albeit the podium is hefty and could use some help being more activated along the street.

This tower's getting to be quite nice on the skyline

Anyone know what the plan is for all of these units? I haven't seen anything regarding the sale or leasing of the units. Thanks

I'd say it's past the stumpy stage, you can really imagine how different this block is going to feel.

One thing I DON'T get though, is why they put the fancy entrance right across from the other building, and not say on the side where the hotel is across the street from it - the building beside it constantly keeps the entrance in perpetual shadow, and you can't appreciate it..

it's one thing I fear if all these skyscrapers start being built - cold wind tunnel effects between building and entire neighbourhoods in perpetual shadow where you can't see the sun. I like hamilton because you can see the sun.

Maybe if we build a lot of skyscrapers we can have them tiered so people can climb flights of stairs and enjoy the rooftops of the smaller ones as actual ground to relax on - like lifting stone pillars all at different elevations and being able to traverse them - so much roofspace is wasted in this city, and thus so much outdoor space is wasted.

Probably functionality -- Caroline is a lot busier than George St.

Nice shots from the top. Rare to see that during construction on a Hamilton project... but given the rarity of Hamilton projects up to now

There's only one Northbound lane on that side of Caroline so if they did put the entry there, it would block traffic without a driveway (that there isn't room for).

Awesome pics for sure, and it's interesting to see that they are almost as tall as Bella already. More pics like this when taller than anything in town besides Landmark place will be even cooler!

Is this supposed to be taller than Bella Tower?
