One thing I DON'T get though, is why they put the fancy entrance right across from the other building, and not say on the side where the hotel is across the street from it - the building beside it constantly keeps the entrance in perpetual shadow, and you can't appreciate it..
it's one thing I fear if all these skyscrapers start being built - cold wind tunnel effects between building and entire neighbourhoods in perpetual shadow where you can't see the sun. I like hamilton because you can see the sun.
Maybe if we build a lot of skyscrapers we can have them tiered so people can climb flights of stairs and enjoy the rooftops of the smaller ones as actual ground to relax on - like lifting stone pillars all at different elevations and being able to traverse them - so much roofspace is wasted in this city, and thus so much outdoor space is wasted.
