They've started demolition. How many of the old walkups are going to be replaced by this?

Yep, first building is now half-demolished. It took them quite some time to get this phase and some manual demolition was ongoing for two months. I suspect the old building was full of asbestos and they had to remove it first?

Anyways, good riddance to the old buildings.

Dirt is finally really flying on site. There were yesterday no less than ten dump trucks lined up along Beresford Street, waiting to be loaded. It actually looked like a totally overkill, but means that things are definitely at high speed now.

The presentation centre is having a sale this weekend. "Like new condition, high-end home decor, furniture, bedding, clothing, and personal items."

Does anyone know if they plan to build both towers at the same time (more or less) like Gold House or if they'll stagger the constructions and start the shorter tower some time after they've began the main tower?

Love seeing how fast the foundation preps are in the Metrotown projects.

I am pretty sure they will be building both towers at the same time. Excavation is continuing on the south end while crane is already up on the north end of the large pit.

They are moving forward slowly and looks like only tower 1 is under construction. One year from now this view will look quite different but this is my last update from this angle.
