Speaking of KLM...

Now they are slashing the winter schedule to 4 weekly from end of October to mid February.... more international stripped from the winter scheds. 3 1/2 months at 4 weekly on 333s.

Transatlantic really getting smacked next winter.

Looked at the KLM online timetable and it still shows daily, 4x weekly A333 and 3x weekly B789. Unless the change hasn’t been reflected there yet?

Usually changes don't reflected in CRS systems for a couple of days.

I think you’re right. He usually posts a correction rather than changing an entry.

AC has delayed Max8 service on OGG. Will run with 763 until December it appears.

Has Air Canada moved into their new check in desks yet? Just curious if there was much of an aesthetic makeover given to the area or if the work was all to do with the new baggage belt system?

flew back home to Toronto yesterday from Calgary, yes it is open.

I don't really remember what it was like before the change, but I did have a checked bag this time. It was similar to Toronto, go in line to bag drop and a computer/machine scans and sends it away.

Area does look more fresh/Modern, but assuming most of it is for the bag drop. I didn't go to any counters or check in agent so not sure if that process has changed.

Dropping YLW what a surprise.

So YYC goes from 13 flights per week to 21 flights per week this winter.

I’d say never say never, but Swoop is currently operating from Canadian airports with low to no fees. Would it break away from that model and enter a market with higher fees?

Amd now that Flair is ditching YHM in favour of YYZ I bet that Flair will put a YYC route out of their YYZ operations, giving WestJet a run for their money!

They are adding YYZ service from YYC albeit daily via YWG.

Their winter schedule is updated, but there hasn't been any kind of press release. Usually that comes out the last week of July.
