Tipsy happy girls in low cut dresses, what's not to like? I didn't even notice the middle ground

The middle ground kind of ruins the picture if the objective was to show that they are living the high life. “Oh look, we are enjoying this fancy soiree, drinking champagne with a nice view of downtown Montreal, context is so urban, that’s city life at its best”. Then you see there are on the edge of a large and muddy vacant lot overlooking a warehouse. The bleak middle ground just doesn’t match the pretention of this picture.

That’s an amazing view though. With low to mid rise condo development in the foreground it would have been perfect.

The comically bleak middle ground will soon be filled with new condos towers, so those girls will loose that view very soon. The warehouse at the right edge of the pic will be turn into one of three new parks in Griffintown. And I have a feeling that the one story commercial building in the center won't survive the boom neither.

WPG GUY, that Railside proposal does not look promising. I know there was a version presented before that had buildings facing the street, what happened to it? I hope the one you showed is NOT the final plan.

That image is simply a mock up of potentially what the layout of the neighbourhood could look like. A request for development proposals for architects and developers recently closed, we should see designs of the buildings and layout of the site realsed soon.

That first Calgary photo's a stunner! The other two are lovely. Montreal looks great as always.

It goes without saying Montreal has the most recognized skyline in Canada.

And i didn't need two drunk girls to show me that.

I'd say Toronto is easily the most recognized. Montreal and Vancouver are more or less the same. I wouldn't be surprised if Quebec City is more recognized than those two.

You drunk? Canada's only building with any international recognition is the CN Tower, and it's normally pictured in the context of the skyline, ergo Toronto's skyline is Canada's most recognized.
