That and the claim that by a Thursday the LRT would have carried a million passengers for the week. At 10K ppdph, the Confederation line would need to be running at full capacity 12 hours a day. We'd have to start on a second parallel line now!
My guess is that when the novelty of the "new train smell" is gone, the Stage 1 line will average no more than 120 to 150K a day so it would take at least a solid week or more to get a million passengers.
