No render yet, but a scoop. The Broccolini project in downtown Montreal will be the tallest residential building in the city. 56-floors total, mix-use. First 8 floors will be office/retail and sales for the tower should start in fall. In addition to this tower and the new BN HQ next door, which will be the largest office tower built here in over 25 years is a planned park.

So basically, Montreal is getting two more 160+ towers in 2018 including a possible new tallest. Neat

Thanks for zooming in haha, but yeah I don't know if it's just me, but does that say 200m on the Brocco tower? 200m/56-floors?

It does say that. I wonder what the lines on the roof mean. Note that the 200m is placed in the middle.

I mean, it ain't bad but to go from a proposed office/hotel/condo mix tower to a retirement home? kinda meh to be honest.

There is not even a rendering! There's some potential of a mediocre design casting shadows on Tour DE LA Bourse which would be the opposite of raising the bar. Keep in mind Brocolini has exclusively used IBI out of Toronto (formerly Page+Steele)
