With all due respect, I hope they do get built. The city put millions of dollars into EV with the idea that they would get tax money back once the area was populated with residents. The towers look fine by me and hope the developer doesn't pay attention to the wishes of a few armchair architects in the peanut gallery.... who by the way aren't going to live there anyways.

Just curious: what don't you like about it? Too monotonous?

Are those towers supposed to be rentals or are the units going to be for sale?

Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly but the renderings made this project look like it would be a lot more prominent and larger. This looks disappointing. Is there more too come?

This view will look great when the two RioCan towers are built.

I don't think that is a paved path.

Does that make a difference? Honest question - but considering how much money the city has spent on clearing roads this winter, is it that much to ask that they clear well trafficked sidewalks? After all, the city expects me to clean the sidewalk outside of my home.

Hard to plow gravel. The path along McHugh Bluff should be paved but the neighborhood NIMBY’s resisted designs that would be inviting to out of neighborhood users.

Lots of vacant units throughout inner city Calgary so a developer would be taking a big risk breaking ground on a new project no matter the location or amenities. Prices need to drop to clear the inventory.

Ever try to clear snow off of a gravel pathway? All the gravel the city put down and the money they spent putting it down gets scattered all over the place. Not exactly a smart move.

Thanks for adding some logic to the equation.
