I know its a bit off topic, but that image from Anthony Weiss's Flickr brings it up...
Im doing a crowd size analysis of the Eagles parade since the Manchester Metro U. analysis published in the Inquirer if flagrantly wrong. The Flickr photos from Anthony Weiss helped me fill in some crowd around the City Hall area, but Im trying to find good aerial/overhead images around 17th Street, and all the way along Broad street.
If anyone knows of some good sources in those area PLEASE let me know with links
Here is what I've digitized so far.
I'm using three crowd densities
2.5 = shoulder to shoulder
9 = clustered with [literally] elbow-room
25 = spread out clusters, cannot touch with outstretched hands
Im guessing the MMU analysis used a single density for everywhere, and was lazy with depicting where the crowds actually were... we'll see once im done
