It's an interesting "park"......though this looks like a sculptural element that goes with some water feature. Probably smells like pee somewhere in that photo.

Great Halifax and Montreal photos

I may be in the minority here but I actually really like that Seattle park. Great example of mid century brutalism.

Century gardens just needs to be cleaned up a bit. That and the old CBE building will be major architectural losses as they are great examples of Brutalism.

You won't find many who appreciate concrete and brutalism around here, but yes it is absolutely a great piece. Could be cleaned up, but that mossy patina is kinda nice too.

The moss almost makes it look like a modern Angkor Wat.

It needs to be cleaned up but they also need to take out all the little secluded places where people go to smoke crack and stab people.

Yep, I love it too, but it's not exactly what I would consider a "park".

It's a good example of brutalism, as long as people can't hang out and do illicit activities in a corner. The photo unfortunately doesn't show us that...since it has a different purpose.

Fair enough. Maybe they could just move Crack Mac's right into the park and make it a one stop shop.

THere is a massive renovation planned for the park, saw a render somewhere, can't remember how much they plan to change though. I think the office building proposal beside it is virtually dead now that we have about 25% vacancy in office space lol.

Glad the office proposal is dead. Keep the park and improve it.

Isn't this where they filmed parts of Logan's Run?
