The current Courthouse location would have been great. Lots of room to go with whatever design they may want, including possible future proofed designs. And it spreads the arts and cultural foot print across downtown while still being relatively close to everything.
And while it wasn't on the radar, the old SMT Bus Terminal would also have been a perfect location. Close to where they are now, all the room for expansion they could ever want, and on one of the highest profile corners in the city. Imagine the entrance on the corner of Regent and King, big advertising signs for the current shows for everyone to see as they drive by every day; crowds lining up around there, drawing more attention, etc...
