Old pic from before the floor was hung below the roof.
Interesting to note that it appears the yellow panels were placed,
then cut to size in situ and fitted around the steel supports (as seen in the current pic, above).

Perhaps it's like the metal wood look stuff on tower #1.

Totally agreed!

Judging from the angle in mc's photograph, looks like 13 more floors plus the crown will be about the same height as Altus + spire.

Ten years ago Trespa made this kind of stuff and it was used on a casino I had worked on in Cherokee in North Carolina. Its a picture of wood veneer superimposed on a phenolic core. The manufacturer sells this cut to size and you mount it on a metal hanging system (Similar to alucabond) . Now so many companies make a product like this ....Alucobond (as well) Armstrong, Forms + Surfaces etc....

I looked up the companies you mentioned. They called this Aluminum Composite Material.
Apparently, they can add colors and patterns to it at fabrication to make the finished product looks like other building materials. In this case, it looks like wood.
