He hopes you play better against the Coyotes tonight that how the Leafs did last week.

The Leafs acted like they just had to show up because the Coyotes were the bottom team in the league - and got beaten.

Maybe re-read my comment. I won't be angry at you for misreading my post. We've all done it.

"I'm sure you (Calgary) will do well against the Coyotes tonight unlike the leafs last week who didn't give them (The Coyotes) the respect they deserved."

Wow you’re a real pro Troll there, mis-spelling city names and mixing up teams just to push all the right buttons. Now kindly go back to your 50 plus year Stanley cup drought and keep telling yourself it’s ok because you live in the centre of the universe aka the geographical asshole of our nation.

OK I get it, my bad. Thought it was a dig against the Flames losing to the Leafs because the Leafs didn't give the Flames the respect they deserved, an allusion to my comment about the timing of games being disrespectful to western teams. Apologies for lashing out.

Arizona has some very talented players, I think they deserve better than their current fate. Both Domi and Duclair are doing decent in my pool!

Should be a good game Saturday, Flames need to kick the crap out of the Oilers and get a monkey off their back from last season.

Are Leaf fans also hockey fans or do they just watch their own team play? I know the Marlies draw a relatively small crowd despide the huge population.
Considering the wealth of hockey talent that comes out of the GTA, yeah- I'd say there are lots of hockey fans here.

Also, we call watching hockey at 4pm here "being unemployed".

This is really sad.

Dorsett's a blood-and-guts guy, never took a shift off, and is beloved by his teammates.

I'll take that 50 year drought along with the 13 Stanley Cups, flagship, Original Six franchise over ONE Cup in 1989 (28 years!), obscure franchise. Which would you pick?

Now of course it's great to watch your city win championships but you see Toronto is not tiny, there is more than one major franchise, so I quite obviously witnessed the 92, 93 Jays win back-to-back World Series...

To be devil's advocate, were you a Leaf fan during any of those 13 cup wins? You can respect the franchise's history, but I never understood bragging about championships at a time you weren't a fan (or even alive). Plus, it's really not THAT big an accomplishment to win when there were only 6 teams... 8 or 10 isn't even that great either.

In my opinion, I've always given more importance to the 1968 season and later... and I had that opinion as a Leafs fan since I was a kid.

Truth is Chicago, LA, and Pittsburgh's recent dynasties command more respect than any Leafs cup.

This really got to me. He was one of those players you'd have to play against, but would love to have on your team.

Only the first period but some amazing goal tending on both sides tonight in Edmonton.

3rd period oilers Leafs. Such a fast tight game. Fun hockey. Win or lose great play by both teams.

Kind of too bad it wasn't an overtime win for the Leafs because Edmonton deserves a point for that great game.

I have to admit that I really look forward to Canuck/Leafs HNIC broadcasts. It's a big game. The Leafs are getting a tired team though, as the Canucks just finished a 6 game road trip tonight (5-3 win Boeser 2 goals 1 assist) so it will take a gutsy effort for the Canucks to get the win. And for the record the 4 o clock start on Saturday doesn't really bother me.

Sorry Edmonton, but that was the funniest shit I've seen all year.
