I followed the council meeting on Twitter last night. There was opposition to the police moving into the STC building. Some people still think that STC could come back. Seriously?! That is done. STC will not be resurrected.

And if the Premier had been randomly stockpiling money in a mystical fund everyone would have been whining about the lack of spending on things they wanted.

^probably but many were also saying that some of the resource windfall over the years should have been put into a fund instead of maybe paying friends and acquaintances more for their land then it was worth.

I suppose it's all about priorities.

Our Lady Peace and Matthew Good are touring together, but in March. That would have been okay.

I don't know of any big acts touring in that time frame.
