Not only would an interchange at Blundell allow for car access into the heart of Richmond rather than its southern and northern edges, but it would also provide a great transit connection.

Highway buses add a stop, and an east-west route along Blundell gets a logical terminus there at the highway. This both allows for a useful east-west route, and makes it easier for people to go between Richmond and South Delta/South Surrey, without having force their way to Bridgeport or Steveston Highway on north-south routes.
