Who owns the current STC Regina building at Sask Drive and Broad? I hope they will keep that building for Greyhound to continue to use and then have all the new smaller travel companies using it too as a travel "hub".

The gravel was very small in size. More like sand. Not a problem for windshields, even at 80 km/h. And the sand was out of the main wheel paths before 8:00 am, so no problem for the motorcyclists.

I don't think this will amount to anything. I think all the CFL stadiums made the cut for the 60 potential cities. We are at capacity for Grey Cup; World Cup would be bigger.

Smallest venue for 2014 World Cup was 40,000 people. Most were around 60,000.

I really don't see us getting it.

The other completely new CFL stadiums - Winnipeg & Hamilton - aren't on the list. All other CFL stadiums are on the list (except Molson Stadium, since Saputo & the Big O are included)

Mosaic is the 4th smallest Canadian facility (behind Saputo, TD Place & BMO)

Other than BC Place, Commonwealth, Rogers Centre & Olympic Stadium, the Canadian stadiums are all smaller than any of the US or Mexican stadiums (significantly smaller that the US stadiums).

if you don't win the right to host matches, you likely have a solid shot at being a team base as there are 48 required.

According to the L-P, 40,000 is the minimum, which Mosaic was designed to accommodate through expansion. I do agree this is a longshot, but if you don't try for longshots, you'll never win one.

Agreed, it's worth a shot. Before 1995 many thought we would never host the Grey Cup.
