Curious. Why is the rendering of the concept around 15 storeys if they are supposed to be 50?

The original proposal had towers ranging up to 50 storeys. The current proposal is just a concept.
Adelaide proposal looks pretty decent to me - would be a lot better if they reduced the height of the Adelaide frontage. Lose the portion that looks like the main tower so it looks like a separate building and also steps down to the Templar and then heritage building a bit more gracefully.

I agree, I don't think it's boring and it's way better then the original proposal. It looks like they will be using brick but it's a bit hard to tell.

The new design is a major improvement. It's better to break up the bulk of the building into smaller, distinguishable components that gradually get taller as they move away from the heritage building. I don't like the diagonal V supports, but, otherwise, it's pretty good. The main tower looks sort of American.
I'm just glad the Heritage structure is going to be a part of it at all. It would be nice to see it fully restored getting rid of that ugly addition on the front and the depressing beige and brown paint job. It would be a nice building for a high end restaurant or bar.

Looks promising. I expect the same quality and execution as L'Avenue, so this project should be good.
And 120m is perfect to the area, it will give some breadth to the Bourse tower's environs, making it seem less isolated in the skyline whilst not overshadowing it.

It's not a part of it. Someone else owns that building and the Templar Hotel to the west of it.
POMO is back ? Just when Montreal was getting on the glass band wagon. Oh well. I bet it's a P+S design, in the vein of 88 Scott... Hope that the setbacks are pronounced, at least.
