Sounds cool and New Zealand is an amazing country (just a bit too far and a bit too small for my taste). I hope your plans materialize, although you should know that you two will be in New Zealanders' eyes foreign immigrants moving in to take their jobs and increase their housing prices. It's the same story everywhere.
