No one is questioning the value of the Women's Health Clinic and the work they do. The reality is they own the building so it would be hard to overcome the inertia, but it would be wonderful if someone made the WHC an offer it couldn't refuse which could lead to redevelopment/renovation of the building and send WHC to nicer and better surroundings.

I'm not sure it is a good fit for what so many people see Graham becoming. I could see it existing near the HSC.

Rumour mill - some things look to be happening with the Canada Packers site.

I have to admit I'm not super familiar with that neck of the woods, but on paper at least the former stockyards site seems like an enticing area for redevelopment.

It's close to established neighbourhoods and to downtown, which makes it a pretty appealing area for residential use. The downside is that it's close to a big, ugly, smelly industrial park. I'm not sure if the central location is enough to offset that factor, but if it is, a reasonably dense (i.e. not just SFHs) development could potentially accommodate thousands of residents.

I'm eager to see what's being cooked up for that site.

Hopefully it's oversized single family homes with the garage as the most prominent architectural feature. Oh, and plenty o' cul-de-sacs.

Except that is really really stinky.

It's Prime real-estate for self storage or perhaps just planting a forest and waiting till maple leaf et al. Leave the area.
