Never the less, that CMA is named Ottawa-Gatineau so it's sort of a different beast.

Edit: Ottawa will regain the tallest distinction for its CMA with the Claridge under construction.
At the moment the tallest building in the CMA is in Gatineau in the Terrases de la Chaudière complex. I think it is 10 Wellington and houses Indigenous Affairs.

Anyway it will need to be updated again in a few years when the Gatineau proposals, Zibi and LeBreton flat are fully developed. Not sure the Little Italy cluster will be visible from there though.
Looking forward to it.

The Little Italy cluster should be visible. We can see Preston Square just to the right of Place du Portage on your 2011 picture. Although a lot of it might be hidden by 900 Albert and the Lebreton Flats development.

I made a guess at what the Claridge Icon might look like a few years ago (Oct. 2014). Not the same vantage point, but close.

A great series of shots to show the endlessness of the East End.

As a short term resident of Calgary, my favourite towers are 8th Ave Place I and II. I think their crowns, which echo the "castellated" peaks of the Canadian Rockies, are particularly striking. They are what Toronto's EY Tower could have been IMO.

Nice shot, although downtown Hamilton and the Hamilton area in general, seems more impressive in person than in pictures. (although shots from the mountain perspective are impressive)

It looks good, but the "Trump" name is unfortunate.

Some nice shots of good out Halifax. It is great to see all the development that is currently taking place and I hope that it will continue for many decades to come.

I agree. And what's frustrating is that there are probably a lot of people (in Vancouver and elsewhere) who have come to hate the tower just because of the name on it. They either don't know or have forgotten that it was one of Arthur Erickson's last great designs. I have this fantasy that someday in the future it will be renamed "Arthur Erickson Tower". There is already another tower in Vancouver on False Creek named "The Erickson" that he designed so I think it would be appropriate to have his full name on one of his most prominent projects.

707 Fifth might be my favourite tower in Calgary now, too bad it's only 27 floors.

2 to 4 is a tight mess.

Depends on my mood.(personal preference for Calgary, but Vancouver and Montreal shots always have me pondering)

If Edmonton gets the Aldritt Tower (which I doubt at 80+ floors) I might throw it in the mix with the combination of UC projects.

After 5, you should begin to throw in suburban skylines with the remaining stand alone city skylines.

What?! Vancouver's worst angle is still better than Montreal and Calgary's best angle (sorry Montreal and Calgary).
