I think they should target Charter first though as I assume you would want to get it through a Trump FTC.

Verizon poses less risk from a regulatory standpoint because it's wireless.

Strategically, though, Verizon is probably more crucial for their long term growth than is Charter.

The question is...what other studios/content providers should they buy?

Good luck getting though with either - although I suppose this is the best chance they'll get. I think both are pipe dreams at best.

The content purchase they should gobble up would be Time Warner (like the above, would never happen). That would really put Comcast ahead of Disney (who it's a shame they didn't get last go around).

More realistically, Comcast should target Netflix which complements their current products as both a platform and content developer.

During the conference call, Coradino also said that discussions are underway about adding a residential component to PREIT's redevelopment of the former Gallery at Market East shopping mall in Center City.

Apparently PREIT said they are in discussions about adding residential tower to the Gallery. Not sure what that really means- perhaps they will be working with another development partner.

It's going to be on top of the Gallery - so East Market around 10th and Market.

Plus if the tower at the Gallery is 40 to 50 floors it would balance things out with the Liberty Towers and others pretty nice; but I don't know if the pylons were designed to handle that load. East Market could be rising

Just my feeling, but I don't think we'll get a 40-50 floor residential. Which would be awesome. But I think early renderings, from years ago, and just recently show about a 20-30 floor high rise. I hope you're right though!

We don't really want a 50 story residential there. I just want enough industry and residents on East Market for a large tower at 8th and Market, earmarked for an anchor tenant, to make sense. We are getting closer!

No one knows what happened to the MIC tower and our local media doesn't do much follow up on old proposals. They publicize the announcements and then typically say nothing else until groundbreaking. Very little is known about why this project stalled.

A shorter tower, maybe even mixed use (residential and some office) would do great. Just something to push some residents and employees a little further East to start. Five Below will be taking the Lit Bros building over for its headquarters (180,000 square feet of office space and 15,000 square feet of retail space), so that is good and will hopefully create a little momentum.
